The Americas Were Re-Settled Multiple Times

In the millennia before Columbus made his first voyage, the Americas were settled and resettled multiple times. Recent discoveries in genetics and archaeology have destroyed earlier theories about how and when humans first arrived in the Americas. My next book series will explore the saga of the migration of people from Central Asia across the Bering Strait to arrive in the Americas.

Why haven’t more archaeological sites been found? When the ice sheets melted, it’s likely that many sites ended up under water along the coast of the New World. The rising sea level would have flooded many of the places where the new immigrants came ashore as they journeyed south along the shoreline.
